Poem Broadside

As a designer I strive to always stay, quite literally, closely in touch with the creative process, and this poem broadside project allowed me to do just that. Prompted with a piece of poetry, my job was to design a broadside that visually embodied the words, while also giving meaning to the typography. Very much an exercise in attention to detail, the main illustrated was hand-drawn in pen & ink, and the type meticulously laid out to enhance the reader’s experience.
